I was wondering the same thing pip.
I'm sorry you missed them.
Dom showed his drivers license, the picture is so funny, he's doing like a really funny smile, (It's hard to discribe), he said he's gotten pulled over a few times and the cops don't think it's that funny...
and Elijah talked about his first date which was a funny story, you should look for the trascript on the internet, I bet you could find it.

Oh, and since this is an Elwood board...has anyone seen "Everything is Illuminated"? I just saw it yesterday so I was wondering if anyone else had the chance to.

ok Lor, we can decide on what to say in the e-mail by PM-ing each other, and then one of us can send it. (there is a E-mail all members thing on the admin page)
and no I have not see EII(that's what I'll call it for short) is it good? where did you see it? I heard it was going to open in more cities over time (it was just in Chicogo, LA and NY before) I hope it comes out here, maybe it's playing in Portland...hmmm...I should check, because if it were playing in Oregon, it would probably be there. Anyway do you have any thoughts one the movie? whether I should see it in theaters or wait for the DVD.

I saw it in Toledo, OH. I checked on www.imdb.com to see if it was in Portland, and it wasn't there. I think...it would be wise to wait to watch it on DVD, even if it does reach Portland. Not that it's scary or anything, but you might want to watch it a second time (I know I want to, but that might just be me). It's not a family movie, and it certainly earns it's PG-13 rating. There is "sexual content, language, a death scene, and disturbing WWII scenes". Also (as I've warned my Elijah-fangirl friends), this is NOT a movie to go to for the specific purpose of ogling Elijah's magnified eyes. You have to come to this with a strong interest in seeing the movie, as it is a character study and, again, mildly disturbing. Elijah does fine. By fine, I mean this is one of his better movie performances post-LotR. He doesn't have too much to say, but I think that amplifies his performance. Eugene Hutz also does a fine job. He's quite funny (though, of course, unintentionally), and yet in certain scenes you really do feel sorry for his character. Also, you can see Elijah's current girlfriend dancing (when Alex is breakdancing in the club in the beginning, there's a girl that's shown for a split-second with dark hair and dark skin, that's her), which interested me. Though that's how Elijah&Pamela met, apparently, so I wasn't surprised. But I digress. The WWII scenes are...not scary, they just make you feel...well, to be dull, bad. One more thing. I suggest reading the book beforehand, as I've heard it will give you a better sense of the movie. I went into the whole affair without reading it, and now I'm looking to rent it form the library in hopes that it will answer some questions.

yeah I went to imdb too, and it is playing in Oregon next wekk, but it's too far away, plus I'd rather see it on DVD. It just costs too much to go to theaters and with the DVD you can watch it more than once, and you get extra featers. I'm sure I can rent it when it comes out, I'm older than 13 so I think it should be fine, I'm always watching PG-13 movies.
I also think his other movie (green street hooligans) looks good, but I'll probably have to wait a few years, untill I go to collage or something, because it's rated R and I rearly get to see R rated movies. sadly...
